23 December 2014 - PWI has completed development and production deployment of streaming infrastructure for Smart Fun s.r.o – the Czech company who owns and operate RexTV Internet television services. Tablet or mobile device users could enjoy viewing channels of their preference as well as STB or connected TV owners. All advanced features like catch-up , time-shifted playback, personal video recording, users suggestions are available for the service subscribers. Graphical interface of the service is the same on all types of devices to simplify user experience. “After the long period of the testing and experiments we decided to use Beesmart middleware and Wowza Streaming Engine to build our system. PWI Ltd was selected to integrate the products of those two leading vendors, design and implement the scalable streaming infrastructure.
